Growing up I thought radios were just the things in your car. I thought AM radio was for old people. I thought they called it AM because old people got up so early in the morning. This didn’t explain what FM was, but it seemed to make sense because “Tradio” and all the other godawful crap my grandmother listened to came on AM.
